December 2014, A book published by UMP team entitle, ‘Rahsia Keunikan Gaharu’ (Uniqueness Secret of Agarwood) announced as winner of ‘Buku Umum Terbaik (Teknologi Pertanian)’ in Anugerah Buku Negara event, organized at Dewan Tun Hussein Onn (PWTC).

The book was published with collaboration from other researchers of UMP, Dr Fatmawati Adam, Joharizal Johari, Prof Dr Mashitah Mohd Yusoff and one of our team, Assoc. Prof Dr Saiful Nizam Tajuddin that committed in agarwood research since 2007.  

“I am surprised with the success, and thankful to Allah at the same time. This achievement is further encouraging our team to explore and promote Malaysian agarwood to international market.” Said Dr Saiful.
